"We had the pleasure of working with 48 Degrees North staff in preparation for a large Christmas party anticipating over 500 people for a full dinner food service. The staff were incredibly professional and accommodating throughout the planning process. They met with us on several occasions, guiding us through every step to ensure an efficient and enjoyable event for 500+ guests. This included comfortable seating arrangements and a thoughtfully designed menu. We were fortunate to attend a special tasting prior to the event to sample menu options and meet with Chef David, who would be overseeing our dinner. Chef David provided a personalized breakdown of the menu offerings and shared his culinary expertise. The dinner service itself was remarkably smooth, likely the largest ever seated at Vern Burton Community Center. 48 Degrees North expertly managed the buffet lines, ensuring a seamless flow for all guests. While a few minor bottlenecks were expected with such a large group, the staff quickly adapted, re-routing guests and implementing effective solutions. The food was generally delicious, with the Prime Rib being a particular highlight and a clear crowd favorite. The Mushroom Ravioli with creamy garlic sauce was also a huge hit.
One noteworthy mention was as our RSVP’s seemed to be exceeding our capacity, Aspen Smith and Donya Alward had a gentle yet professional way of talking me off the ledge. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and hard work of the entire 48 Degrees North team. Overall, 48 Degrees North exceeded our expectations for this large-scale event. Their professionalism, delicious food, and excellent service made our Christmas party a resounding success."

Not only were they working with a youth volunteer serving staff, but we also had quite a few table-hoppers who veered from the seating map.
